Materials
Our standard board is kraft corrugated, end to end — board, print, and closure in one recyclable material. Where a food-contact pack needs a grease or moisture barrier, you choose it: an acrylic coating where recyclability is the priority, or a PE liner for the heaviest duties.
Why mono-material
A box made of one material recycles in one stream. The moment you laminate a film or glue in a plastic window, the whole pack has to be separated to be recycled — and most of it isn’t. We design within kraft so the standard pack drops straight into the paper bin. For food-contact packs that need a grease or moisture barrier, that is a deliberate, specified choice — an acrylic coating where recyclability matters, a polyethylene liner where the duty demands it — never a hidden default.
Stack
Flute profile sets the balance of cushioning, print surface, and stacking strength. We specify it to the job, not the catalogue. Produced across a range of board thicknesses — including micro-corrugated — specified to the product.
01
Fine profile, smooth print surface — retail and unboxing.
02
Versatile mid profile — most ecommerce and takeaway.
03
Higher cushioning and stacking strength — shipping cases.
04
Micro profile for compact, premium small-format packs.
The loop
The standard kraft board goes in the paper stream across Europe. No special take-back scheme, no separation step, no contamination of the recycling loop. Where a barrier is specified, we recommend acrylic to keep recyclability the priority.
Certifications
Chain of custody back to certified mills, with the certification documents supplied on every quote. Food packaging ships with the required food-contact and food-storage certificates, supplied with the order.
